A design of a small airfield whose urban condition is first of all the amount of air above it. A programme for philobates, but still on the ground: The design for the small Saanen airfield near Gstaad in the Bernese Oberland aims to address the complex relationship between the various groups using the airfield, including wealthy guests, the Air Glacier and its helicopters, the local farmer, the model aircraft club, and the residents of the surrounding area.
The design seeks to create a consensus between these groups and to adapt to their diverse needs and requirements by developing a flexible device that can serve different functions for each group. This device is designed to be both modular and mobile, with a 6V motor for added flexibility. The ultimate goal is to find a way to reconcile the conflicting interests of these groups and to create a peaceful coexistence between the airfield and its urban environment.
